It's a strange book club indeed.

I wish there were sandwiches served sometimes.

dgtal,

that's where you're wrong. start reading other people's opinions and you'll see the wisdom in them as well.

I agree with Mr. Bond. I was here 6 years ago and there was no Allen or Puppy--just others that had some experience and added their 2 cents--and I did get my marriage back.

When you are on these boards long enough, you know what advise is coming--there isn't much that is "different" anymore. You also get the feeling who should let thier marriages go with love. I am one of those that has to do that--it's hard, but after being here (not continuously, but off and on) for 6 years I do see that I am one of those ones that doesn't have much to work with, but I did find ME thank GOD!!!

Amen!

I too found Pup's advice personally valuable, even though we've butted heads a few times around the board. It's the multitude of perspectives that makes this place so important and useful to the devastated LBS. At last count, Pup had over 17000 posts ... all made on his own time, in an attempt to help and support folks who felt lost and devastated.

I am sorry to see him go.

Hey fellow Coastie - how goes your life? Mine is doing just great.

I just cant get too worked up about bannings, disagreements and begging for someone to be reinstated. It just seems like a bunch of unnecessary drama. Life is too short to be pissed off.

In my opinion, the most important zen of life that Michelle Weiner Davis has helped to give the world is to work towards the future with solution oriented brief therapy.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

PS... Have you done any bore tide surfing at Turnagin arm?

and did you ever try that burger jerky recipe I posted to you?

Carry on mate!
