Why are so many threads locked?

i noticed that allen has been noticeably absent from the infidelity forum.

Allen had a thread this morning titled "Allen has left the building". Like Puppy's similarly named thread, it has been taken down.

coach and greek has yet to chime in on any threads. are they gone too?
