Thanks Julia! Everyone has been so supportive. It's funny it hurt with the biopsy but now having the surgery I feel it all over the right side of my face when I talk or even eat. Ouch!

But I know this is part of getting better. smile

Every hour is one hour that you are now cancer-free - you couldn't say that before! Hope that you get better meds - be good to you and eat as much ice cream as you want for the next week.

I felt kind of guilty when I had ice cream last week but hey since I have permission ...lol. Cancer free sounds so good. smile. I hope your Dr visit goes well. Did you get in fairly soon?

Oct 25th, but I have to change it - forgot I am going to a conference. Hopefully that week, though.

Kat - glad you were able to get an earlier appointment to have this taken care of. Yes it is a bit unpleasant for a couple of days afterwards but it gets better fairly quickly. The worst thing about my first procedures on the top of my head was I had to wear a square bandage for about a week and it looked like I had a "post-it" note on my head. Pretty funny looking and somewhat embarrasing at work since I couldn't wear a hat in the office!

Kat, glad to hear it all went well! Another challenge in life taken head-on and overcome! Take time to heal from it and be proud that we are tough cookies who can roll with the punches.

Speaking of cookies...that reminds me to go say something smart ass to wii.

Funny that it would end up with me hurting to talk. It seems that when I do, it causes a bit of a pull in the area of my stitches and thus a bit of pain. I am so glad this was overly quickly and I get these stitches out next Monday.

Now I am just hoping for a period of peace. Well and some love thrown in couldn't hurt. wink
