Well during our little hiatus I had a little medical issue and am now lined up for a Colonoscopy and a Gastroscopy, isn't life grand! I had trouble coming up with anyone who I could ask to go with me, as you have to be accompanied to and from the clinic or they won't do the procedures, so wife said she'd take the morning off and take me. So, October 19 I'll be going to a clinic for the big show! I found something that looked like blood in a stool, probably a jam center from one of the cookies I ate the night before, but knowing my father had colon cancer a few years ago and having never had a Colonoscopy I elected to go to my doctor and he threw in a Gastroscopy too, what a giving guy! This time I plan to get medicated. Twenty years ago I had a Gastroscopy and am apparently the only human being on the planet who has had one without being medicated. It was not fun! I told my supervisor I needed time off for these tests and her response was "can't this wait a month or so, we're really busy!" Ah, the empathy overwhelms me. Anyway, that's my update.
