When my H made his grand sweep through the house for items, he kept grabbing things he hadn't touched in years, if ever. He reminded me of Steve Martin in 'The Jerk'. I want this lamp, oh and this end table, and yes, this vase. It was comical.
Oh my goodness, I almost just spit out my water when I read this. This is EXACTLY what I said to myself, when H moved out the first time 4 years ago. I remember thinking to myself "why did he take THAT?" So weird!!! He took a miniature globe. Nothing else...I just happened to look up on the desk shelf one day and noticed the globe was suddenly missing. When he moved back I asked him where the globe was...and if we were getting it back... He was kind of like "huh?"
B, I'm sorry you find yourself here but as you know, this is an incredible forum to belong to. I don't know what I would have done without it 4 years ago. Didn't imagine I'd be back...but here I am. *sigh*
