Ok. I will take your word for it. My cheek is killing me right now and I have already taken Tylenol. Will it be about the same when they cut it out?? So gad you stopped by.

Kat, I once had a client/patient with a huge wart on his arm, I made an appointment for him to see his doctor and have it looked at and removed. The next day my client comes in and the wart was gone, I asked him where it went and he said "it was bugging me so I tore it off"...I wouldn't go that route, Kat. Let the pros handle it! Thinking of you
Thanks. I think I will take your advice on that. I thought it was a mole but it wasn't flesh colored, more red. I had a fear in the back of mind all of this time that it was cancer. Since g is a Dr, I will try to take it all to heart. Just a bit scary still when what you feared becomes real.

Still waiting for the final biopsy report? 1-2 weeks sounds like a long time to get an answer. If it does need to be excised more, it shouldn't be a lot more uncomfortable than what you have already gotten done. They should give you a script for something stronger for pain, though.

They just did it yesterday and they have to send it off to a lab. The Dr is hoping to have the results next Monday when I get my stitch out. So is cutting it out the best option? I know they did say yesterday that they would need to get rid of it.
I am not feeling as scared as I was. Now it is just sit and wait. Cancer is just a very scary word. I have lost 3 grandparents to it. Then also my Danish Mom. Thanks for checking in on me g.

So sorry I stepped away for a couple of days and missed what was going on.
No worries! You had this check early and basal cell carcinoma is definitely one of the most treatable. You have lots of spunk and strength and that is what it takes to get through this.
Tons of hugs and support from me! Love you girl!

We are going to get through this too! I just wish it could be done and taken care of now. I teared up telling the kids but quickly pulled it together because I don't want them to be scared. It is ok for me to be scared, but not them.
