It's interesting that you mentioned this. I was just reading this on a blog the other day and think it's true:
I had a friend once tell me that she knew her marriages were over the moment the word “divorce” was said out loud. Whether they said together two weeks or two years later, she can still trace it back to the moment when the word was chosen and spoken. And I think she’s right.
I remember so clearly when we went to visit H's family and we were talking w/ his bro and he said, "If Sol and I ever divorce..." and I will never forget that day. I mentioned this to him about a month ago and I said, "Remember taht ime when we went to visit your family and you said, If--
And he stopped me and said "I know what you're going to say but that's not what I meant at the time." He didn't even let me finish my statement. But he knew what I was talking about. Interesting.
