I remember when STBXW first said the word divorce. It was 2003 and it just shocked me. To be fair, I was absolutely acting like an *ss that day. I went to a friend's house, told him what was going on and he said I was 100 percent wrong.

So I went back and apologized. From that day on though, I felt like I was living with a hammer over my head.
