OMG, I really need to get a life!
I went to our Men's breakfast at church this morning. Sat down at a table with a friend, we ate breakfast and I grabbed a coffee. I turned to my friend and said "Wow, this coffee is horrible, it's like drinking tar!" (or coffee from Starbucks) He replied "really? I made it"... oops. After a few sips I excused myself and dumped it. I stopped on the way home at Tim Horton's which is the Canadian equivalent to what Mecca is to Muslims except you have to go at least once a day rather than once in your life! (I rarely ever go and if it gets out I could have my citizenship revoked, so don't spread it around, OK.) Anyway, the line up was to the door, so I left (and prayed to the Great Timmy in the Sky to forgive me). Finally I stopped at a mall to get a newspaper and saw another Tim Horton's (I think The Great Timmy was looking out for me, it couldn't be just coincidence!)in the mall with no line up. I had a lovely chat with the girl behind the counter but have absolutely no idea what we were talking about except that she was a Vegetarian...but she seemed to enjoy the convo...I think. So, I'm at home drinking my double double (that's Tim Horton's language) and planning my afternoon and so far am coming up with nothing. That's why I'm sitting here filling you all in on the mundane goings on of my morning. Anyway, just so that you're not feeling empty when you leave this thread, here's something for all you mom's out there which I came across on my internet journeys last night. Ah, what the heck, I'll toss in the dog saying grace too...enjoy! Later fellow Asparagus lovers (hey, do you think the asparagus had something to do with our spouses dumping us? Just wonderin') I got some serious afternoon planning to do...or maybe I'll nap.
