Last night my SS called to talk to me out his sitch. He and DIL are separated now. He is staying at home with kids this week, she's at her mom's. Next week they switch off. I tried to offer support without choosing sides.
SIL says his Dad is very unhappy. He says you can see it in his face, in his voice, yet he hasn't even tried to make contact with the kids in almost a month. I told him that I had done all I could do, and now it was all up to his father. My H told him that he couldn't come to town until the divorce date. Why, do I have roadblocks up? Posse's on the lookout?
Thanks Irish, but I'm really not distressed in the least. I had a very good weekend. For the most part, things are going good with me. I feel very good about me right now. What happens is out of my hands, and I'll go with the flow.
In a way, the kids martial problems keep me from focusing so much on my own. There is no side to be on. I love my SIL's and DIL as well as my own kids.
Work is going well. I have good friends. I can't let this get me down.
Wednesday! Having a very good week overall. This week, at least, I'm very comfortable in my skin. Nice to have it back. Sleeping only 5-6 hours, but it's better than I was sleeping.
Office manager had a seizure at work Monday that lasted some 20 minutes. I sat on the floor next to her and held her hand til her husband arrived. Scary stuff! And they can't find a reason for her seizures. That, and my friend with cancer help me to see that my problems are small, and I should not dwell on them overmuch.
I am so blessed, and thankful for my family. ( Even when they are a pain in the butt)
