Hey, Kat, sorry so late in posting! I'm working overtime this week, just a temp. thing, but been busy. Date Night is at the top of my queue, it was a wait, but now is available. I sent back a movie Friday so they should send it Monday I would think. I'm going to have the kids next weekend, but maybe I can talk S16 into watching with me. Don't know...How've you been????

Had a good weekend with the kids. Celebrated C turning 18. where did all the time go? r turns 15 tomorrow but it is Dad's night so I won't get to see him much. I think because it was actually S18's birthday he didn't want to share it but sometimes you just have to do what you can. Still making a cake and stuff tonight.

Maybe I will blow up some balloons tomoorow for his room. I don't know. Let me know when you get the movie.

Oooh I want to watch Date Night too!

Wow, your baby is 18. Mine is 8 and with his fresh haircut and two missing front teeth, he looks like a big kid. cry wink Makes you want to start singing Sunrise, Sunset!

Fill his room with balloons. That would be fun...

Date night is hysterically funny! You guys will LOVE it!

Definiely do the balloon thing. Not just 3 or 4 but bunches of them in different sizes and colors so he has to wade through them to get to his bed. Fun fun!

Also anyone that wants to join in on Movie night is welcome. I will get you the details once Karen gets her copy.

How does it work? do you guys set up a conference bridge that everyone dials into or something? Then one person says '1,2,3...hit the play button now'?

No. We are so low tech.lol Karen and I started this a couple of years ago and then we had a couple of others join us. We would rotate who picked the movie and I don't know why but I usually picked the day. Then I gave the time since we covered 3 time zones then we would hop on a thread after and talk about it.

We just started it up again now that she has her new tv and dvd player hooked up. I bought my copy of Date Night and she is using Netflix. At movie time if someone gets a late start they might let us know that so we wait a bit to start the movie or the discussion. Pretty informal.

The more the merrier!

I went and bought the helium balloon kit so I can do 30 balloons pretty quick tomorrow night. I need to stop by the store and get some more stuff to make the cake(from scratch...these kids are spoiled. smile ) I love birthdays as if you guys couldn't tell. I need to pinch them some more so they will stop growing!

Ok, he is 15 now. My little guy that refused baby toys so he could be like his big brother. The same kid that grew so tough getting his blood drawn every week. I don't know which hurt more, when he cried or when he got used to it. The same sweetie that just knew the skunk was a kitty and wanted him to hold it.

My partner in home repair crime is having his birthday. Happy Birthday Ryan!! I couldn't have done it without you. smile
