Celebrating 1/2 year birthdays? Sounds like your H is in MLC.
My best birthday was probably 11. I got a Laugh-In "sock it to me shirt" and all the neighborhood kids pounded on me.
There was one birthday (maybe 34 or 35) that I forgot about until I bought a Washington State fishing license that morning - the clerk said "happy birthday" and I was like "No Sh!t"!
My family has always made big deals about birthday. Maybe a bigger deal with my Da's and mine because we are 5 days apart. My Mom and brother could care less but my dad and I always tried to make their's big too.
I have carried that on as the boys are 3 years and 3 days apart. My youngest is 13 days after me and no way am I not making a big deal out of D11's just because it is out there by itself. lol Actually she shares her birthday with my favorite Aunt. Makes it a really special day as well because it was a day my Grandmother and I shared. We don't do anything with my Aunt but each one gets to pick where they want to go, which movie, where to eat...that sort of thing. Everyone needs to be the King or Queen on their birthday.

I am feeling a little better every day. I went golfing today. Very poorly, but I felt better. They were getting the course ready for winter reseeding, so it was bone dry, hardly any grass on the greens, but cheap.
This after I got back the little guys and I played Rock Band for a while, it seems that I may have a voice to use Sunday at band practice.
Last night S15' football team (the JV team) lost 47-0. It was pretty hard to watch. The good thing is that he played a lot.
