I think we are all in agreement on that one. No one answered if it makes a difference though. You don't have to provide details just a yes or no and if it makes it better or not.

18 years ago today I had my first son. We have had some up and downs but so far it has been one heck of a journey. What an honor he gives me by letting me share in his life. He isn't a little boy anymore and well the number doesn't quite make him a man. I know I will always see him running around as a little boy shaking his mop of brown hair.
Somehow though I am able to see him as he is today...a wonderful young adult. I am so blessed and proud. I love you Christopher. Happy 18th Birthday!

It is amazing to me that our children sometimes come through this a little wiser. It is such a painful experience, and leaves its mark, but at times, even my Tween surprises me...somewhere she got a wisdom that I have never had. I hope your son has many blessings to come!!!
Im still standin better than I ever did looking like a true survivor feeling like a little kid Im still standin after all this time and Im picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind..
It's amazing to see our kids grow up, I still remember how little DD was when she was born. Now she's in first grade. I can't even imagine her breaking into her teens let alone 18. She'll always be my little baby.

I am still in shock that he is 18. It is a good shock though. We went to the same place that we went for D10's birthday. When we got there it wasn't too busy but seemed like there were a lot of parties today!
We did the go carts where for some reason they all lapped me. Maybe because I was the only one who braked on the corners! Even my dad bumped me! The coolest thing happened when before we left we decided to play laser tag. There was already a group of 8 guys waiting, probably all in their 20's at least. The place decided we could play teams against them. Wish the 7 of us luck. As we were going in S14 looked at me and said you just keep hitting that target Mom. There is a target that if you hit it, hits everyone on the other team and you can rack up some good points.(we had played earlier and I had the highest score in the whole family but the boys still beat the girls).
So I am getting hit but I keep getting these targets. Really they tell you about them at the start so I don't know why people don't shoot them. So anyway each gun has a code name so you can find out your points at the end. We walk out when the game is over and we won!! I racked up 11,300 points and their highest scorer didn't even get 4000 points. They were all standing their shocked and grumbling about so and so with over 11000 points on the other team. How did that happen? I was ecstatic and really I still am. My code name was Panther and my Dad says no really you are a cougar. lol
So now the boys and my Dad think I need to start playing Halo! lol
Christopher wanted to have me thank you guys for your birthday wishes. He was touched that people he didn't know would think of him. He is a special guy.
