Can anyone help me figure this out? I have my privacy settings set so my info is only shared with friends, so how do people I don't know and aren't friends of people I know find me and then hit on me? It is kind of creepy.

Anything else I can change or adjust?

Hey kat!

After you go to the privacy settings screen, up at the top there is the basic directory settings. Go to view settings there, and see what you have.

Gee, I didn't mention it is on FB! Duh! I went there and everything is set to friends only.

There is a directory search setting though.

Default is set to public so anyone can find you even though they can't view your profile.

I don't think it lists anything about your family though if it is just for your friends to see. He seemed to know I had a big family. Strange.

They kind of hide the directory search settings at the top of the privacy page. You can lock it down a lot more than the default.

I will have to check that when I get home since I can't go there from here. I guess some people have nothing better to do all day than to check people out on FB. I am not one of them because I kinda, well sort of, have a life!
