Yeah. I'll never tell anyone to walk away from a chance to rebuild their marriage/family- but for me this is the end.

There's not much to rebuild in a M when one or both spouses have used WMD's and blown it to smithereens.

In my case, I consider the original person I had M'ed dead and buried, as she just doesn't exist today. I can't realistically comprehend that previous person ever resurfacing either, so utterly different is this current one. No, she's gone for good, and were the old person to show back up wanting to reconcile, I'd probably think it were a ghost. As such, I could not trust it. Forgiveness is one thing, but foolhardiness is another.

Soleil, I kind of guessed that would happen in this guy's case. I think he was just embarrassed and feeling like a failure and couldn't face her.

He left a mess though -- a financial disaster.

Another lady at the table, who has been really, really, really angry, is starting to calm down. Her kids are warming back up to her since the anger is subsiding.

She just needs more to do. Weekends alone are getting to her. I suggested she go to the Friday night celebrate recovery services. She'll meet women whose husbands struggled with alcohol and maybe expand her circle of friends.

Aaah, getting a sore throat. There's lots going around and I hope I'm not coming down with something. Had girls tonight and it went pretty well.

I was hoping to take them to the health club, but both still had homework to finish.

So after D8 played outside while D11 and I ran in place with the Wii Fit. Last week D11 couldn't get through the island lap running and had to walk. It was ... alarming.

This week she ran fine and said "it's so much easier this week."

It's my weekend and ... health permitting ... we're hitting church Friday night so D11 can see one of her theater friends. Saturday D11 has been invited to a birthday party/sleepover. She thought I'd say no because it was my weekend. But childhood is to make memories. I said sure. Me and D8 can hang out all day.

Sunday we'll hit church, a small petting zoo and ... hopefully ... the health club.

That's a good -- cheap -- weekend.

Throat feels better. I think it was just a reaction to donating plasma twice in a week.

Good morning with D11. Got her up and to the bus without issue. Yesterday was her "one week anniversary" with her first real boyfriend. He got her a bracelet.

It's cute -- but terrifying. I watched an HBO documentary about middle school and I have to be on guard at all times.

D8 was playing a computer game when it was time to leave. I warned her several times that we were getting close to the time to leave. Still, she had a mini meltdown. We got through it.

A "real" boyfriend who is giving her jewelry after one week and she is just 11? Yikes dude, call me old fashioned but you might want to think about putting the brakes on this before she's getting married at 14!

School is way different than it used to be. I asked her what constitutes a date in 6th grade. She said hanging out on the playground during recess.

She has a birthday party to go to on Saturday (my weekend) and I'm going to make sure it's a girls only party.

Just back from a biz networking event. Sat with a friend who got divorced four years ago and a new lady who is going through it right now.

So it was compare notes time. Fun, fun.

There were two good looking brunettes there, but I was kind of trapped at this table and never got up to talk to them. Plus, I was dressed a little rumpled.

Note to self, look sharper at this group next month.
