Luv to try it! Sunflower fields? Here I get a shot by chance once in a while when hunting for something else. #4 or #2 steel have a tendency to pulverize them though. Not much left with that big a load. Do you use #8 lead?

#8...don't think we can even buy lead shot anymore here...could be wrong..The new shot is not toxic....My dad took S11 out turkey hunting last weekend...they saw 6 far away...

R2C, they jink too! 15s the limit here too. Our party of three got about 16 but lost four plus two out in the pond. They sent me home with all of them and I grilled the brests with a jalapeño half wrapped in bacon. They were awesome.

Dan, it was litterally like being an AA gunner at Pearl Harbor. There were times I couldn't reload fast enough and had to shoot whatever I had.

It was a blast.

jink? Is that like a quick swerve?

Journaling:

Last two nights I have had pretty intense dreams about W. In the first one I was ACTIVELY LISTENING (from another recent thread) and I can remember looking into her eyes trying to understand. I can't remember what the conversation was. Then last night, we were at my grandfather's house, or at least what I thought was my grandfather's house at the time, but now I don't remember what was going on there either.

Just seems strange that I haven't really done this beofre and now 2 nights in a row with strong dreams about W. Hmmm....

Yeah. A jink is like a quick swerve. It's what those of us who suck blame missing 28 times out of 30 on. cool

Weird deal about the dreams. Hope Wifey Krueger doesn't come for me too. Sleeping is the only time I'm really free, (for now). I hope it stops for you man. You need the peace.

I went through a period of very intense dreams about my W. In them, things were better than ever between us and I can remember thinking that I was glad that I learned what I did from this board and all the reading, etc., that it all led to a much better relationship than we ever had before. One night, I woke up feeling happy and content, walked in the bathroom with a smile on my face and it slowly hit me that it was all a dream and I was back to reality. I went back to my empty bed and cried for a while.

The dreams passed. I guess it's a normal part of the process? Y

On the dove hunting - my FIL plants several acres of sunflowers each year. It is a blast!! I've got three patches that I hunt and I can't wait until the twins are old enough for a .410 of their own to go with me.

Anyway, take care, Dan. You sound like you are doing well.

When my W first left, I had a dream that I had to tow a 250LB Hershey bar using one of those little, red wagons, and it was rusty, and the weather was hot, so the Hershey bar was melting, and people kept passing me on bicycles. confused

W called last night while I was at the drug store picking-up some cold medicine. She asked what pictures I wanted to order from the kids school photos they are taking today. She noticed that I was sick and asked about it. I told her a little and she sounded sympathetic. Then she told me about my son's cold and a bunch of other people who had colds too.

I mostly just listened and answered a few questions. Tried to be nice, but not too nice. Didn't ask her any questions and didn't really try to build on any conversation. Is this the right way to go about this at the moment?

I also found out recently that W's OM is going to be working with W's best friend's H soon. Interesting development. Not that I should even care.
