You can't believe the Raiders sucked? HELLO! I used to get a kick out of the Raiders, I remember years ago in an interview one of the Raiders (name escapes me) was asked about the squeaky clean Cowboys being "America's team" and he repied something like "The Raiders are America's team, a bunch of drug addicts, convicts and rejects...that's America's team"
Gotta luv it!

The Chiefs get to play tonight. I used to almost always watch Sunday football when they played. I'll have to see where we are at with homework when the game starts. It's a late one...9:15 CT. also have to see when the rescheduled the US Open Final, I think I would rather watch that. Choices!! smile

Haha you guys are funny! LOL

OK so I've never really been into football (or any ball games for that matter) but I'm finally starting to take some interest now. It's hard to pick your team after 35 years so I figured the most logical choice would be the home teams.

I think Chargers are probably the better of the three?

I don't really follow them, just the Chiefs. I used to never watch college football but have started watching them more often. If I have to pick the sports to watch it would be KU basketball, Tennis(professional), KU Football, Chiefs Footballand if I want something slow paced...Royals baseball. Basically a home team gal and yes it is sad that my teams don't always do well but someone has to support them you know!! lol

LOL!

IR, you are probably better off going with the Chargers than the Raiders or 49ers. Plus....aren't you in SoCal??? How could you consider any team from NoCal a home team????? They should have divided the state into two parts decades ago anyway and marked Central CA as a DMZ! LOL.

I don't know if the game tonight will be worth watching kat. It's probably going to be a bit of a snoozefest as most games involving the Chiefs have been the last few years. So sorry to say it. Who knows, maybe Cassel will pull his head out of his butt now that Charlie Weiss is there kicking his butt. We'll see!

Oh I never discounted the Chargers...but you're right mish, the Chargers are closer to me. I think at some point the Raiders used to be in LA if I remember correctly?

Did I tell you STBXW and I used to go shopping on the Superbowl Sundays...empty lots, empty malls! it was like having the whole city to ourselves LOL.

That's sacriledge!!!! Super Bowl Sunday should be a national holiday!

The Raiders were in LA for a while(1982-1994) but LA wouldn't build them a new stadium (WTH would they put it???) so they broke all sorts of contracts and ticked off a lot of people and Al moved them back to Oakland....where that bunch belongs! LOL

Yeah no kidding, Oakland is scary. OK I'm a Chargers fan today.

Kat, I hear you...no more talk about football. Let's discuss hot chicks instead.

Can I talk about hot guys instead since I don't lean that way? smile I had a 28 year old winking me on Match today. He clearly stated his age cut off was 35. Maybe he thought I was cute?? Beats me or maybe just the myth of divorced women...that we are easy was true. Its been nearly 3 years but come on! lol

I still say if I am old enough to be your Momma, you need to turn around.(Yes it is a bit flattering though). Oh and it is a nice change from the 60 somethings hitting on me. wink
