The bankruptcy has not been discharged. SG still has to make the Chapter 13 payments, although I am not sure if they will submit a new plan excluding the car, or how that is going to work. Frankly I don't care.

I was the co-debtor, so I have just been removed from the bankruptcy. My part is dismissed. This means I will not be responsible for any of his debt, just my own. I can handle that since the majority of the debt was his to begin with. Now I need to wait, rerun my credit report, and contact the few creditors that are mine to try to settle the debt out.

I also heard from the company doing my student loan consolidation, and everything is in place. They will pay off my loans, and roll them all over into one payment, which I will begin paying in 30-45 days. So that is also set. Financially, things are starting to look up.

I did hear from the show, and it seems that they will only use both parties involved. Since I know the SG still will not admit to the affair, I think it is safe to say that they will not be using me.

Yes Kal, I would have talked about it. My goal was that if just one person who was considering an affair could see the repercussions of that action, and maybe change their mind, then maybe one marriage could be saved, one family could be saved, and a whole lot of pain could be avoided. It was a way to turn a bad experience into possibly doing someone good for someone else. But I think it was just not meant to be!
