Just finished my 5 mile race. Road races are pretty addictive; I'm planning on running in a 5K next month. It was the farthest I've run, but also my fastest time. Killer hills. The high from running like that is pretty darn cool.
Then went to church with the family, and now time for some football. Too bad my Seahawks are going to be terribad.
You seem to be in a good place, Pin. I am going with some buddies to watch the Cowgirls, I live in TX but not much of a fan. Leaving in a week and a half for CA for the reunion should be interesting I am going to eat everywhere i cannot eat here in TX. In and out and all the other CA classics.

John, Not a fan, sorry buddy. And Pin yes they are opening one in garland TX which is just outside of dallas. So that just reminded me to google it and find out when the hell they are opening!!
Sorry Pin, not a runner just weights and as little cardio as possible to stay in a 34 waiste. And your boys did good yesterday! the cowgirls were pathetic, I hate how much this town pumps them up, it was the same in Denver when Shanahan the rat was coaching there.
Greek and I are training to do a marathon in Dec. I wouldn't classify myself as a runner. We did 10 awful miles on Sat - 90 degrees and very humid, not fun weather for running long distances. I still lift 3 days a week.
Avoiding injuries is key to long term training. Runners World website has a lot of good info on injuries and remedies.
Cheers
