Seriously, it was the most fun I have had since last Homecoming when I went out with a bunch of people.

It reminded me of college parties, but no one was throwing up. wink Just lots of people talking, drinking, and having fun. I have not played kick ball in years!!! The rules were, you had to have a drink in one hand at all times (any drink, pop, water, beer, whatever); and you could not wear your shoes!! It felt so awesome to throw the ball and get a guy out.

The host had made a giant bucket of lemonade that was passed around all night. Someone said it was gin, which I never drink. All I know was it tasted like lemonade with zero alcohol flavor. Good thing it was being passed around and not poured into big cups or I would have been in trouble!

GG asked me to text when I got home. I texted that I made it back, but wished I was there. He replied, "Well i wish I was there" (with me)...very sweet. Then an hour later he texted that he made it back to the house of the people he was staying with--the ones who had the bday party we went to in April.

Such a good time! Another high school classmate was there who I see on FB but haven't talked to in years. He is a single dad so we traded stories about our vacations with our kids. It was nice to talk to someone else who 'gets it'...

Then a guy from church was there with his wife. I have never seen him drink but it was apparent he had quite a few. He introduced me to a guy there and an hour later when he saw me again he said he had been trying to 'hook us up'...um, no thanks! I was not interested in that guy. But funny that he was trying to play match maker.

Today has been busy. Dropped $100 at the dance store, Sydney signed up for dancing and had to get ballet shoes, tap shoes, and tights. I bought her leotards and ballet bag at Target bc it was cheaper there...and I got Nathan a basketball bc he wants to play Y ball this winter. Things are going to get even busier around here!!
