So bad of me but i really wish I knew what she had a warrant for. That, and the neighbor(but I can guess). Nothing like finding out all the fun stuff after the fact. It really makes me more nervous about the other people that lived in the house showing up and continuing the work.

I hate feeling so naive. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and figure that for the most part, they think kind of like me. These last couple of years have been a rude awakening.

Glass got fixed this morning!! Yippee!! Asked the guy about the "damage" on my car. Thankfully it is on the plastic part so nothing structural per se. He said they will probably still have to take off the whole fender/bumper(it is all one piece from one side to the other), sand it down to get rid of the blemishes and then repaint that section and blend it all in to match. Said it might take a couple of days. This is the glass guy not insurance but I figure he knows something about it.

Sigh...

Cool! I didn't realize the glass broke too. The bumper cover is usually one piece and if it's not broken it could be repaired. They're not that expensive to replace either depending on the car...the paint match is probably the most intricate part of the replacement procedure. If it's an old car it's no big deal but if it's a nice new Lexus with sparkle flakes in the paint then it kinda is.

Damage was on the passenger side fender but that is one whole piece from rear fender to rear fender. The glass shattered the next day. My insurance guy said it was the pressure on the glass from the accident and then the heat of the day that caused it to crack since there was no sign of vandalism. I will get all of who pays what cleared up when I start dealing with her insurance.

My car is a 2010... a year old and yes it has pretty shiny with flecks in it paint.

So if I had been in NYC, what would I have done? Would I have panicked? Would I have helped? I remember watching all day. I cried for my fellow flight crews, I cried for the innocent and I cried for America.

I hope we can continue to learn the lessons from that day. Hate and fear can destroy everything. Please always remember.

Makes no sense. If you learned a lesson, then you are done and move forward.

You are describing staying stuck.

People who want you to stay stuck are usually trying to sell you something... could be public policy, could be a commerative coin, etc.

Sorry but I disagree. So we came together as a nation and as time passes we seem to forget that. We point a finger at particular groups rather than taking each person for there own merit. Maybe there are still some things to be learned.

After the burning of the Reichstag, Germany came together, Hitler was made Chancellor, and civil liberties were suspended, and the rest is history.

I'll take the messiness of the democratic process over everybody uniting in the name of fear and revenge every day of the week grin

If you really want to think about something: how many people who died that day spent their last moments alive mad at somebody on the subway, angry at family members, lost in grief over a breakup, and so on? Terrible way to spend your last moments here on planet Earth.

Wasting your life fearing things you personally have no control over, remorse, and so on is sad too, and it's only a matter of time before we each step in front of the metaphorical bus.

Your time is passing whether or not you use it wisely.
