I am letting go and getting on with my life even to the extent of taking an OW on vacation but obviously wouldn't be here if somewhere in the back of my mind I didn't want my M to survive.
I think it is very important the way we communicate with everyone including our EX's as this sets the tone for future interactions. It doesn't mean you have to be a "puppet" or a doormat.
For example if I replied to every email and conversation she opened with "Fu$k you" would that help in winning someone over. Although i dont think she will dump the OM based on how i phrase my emails it does affect the way we interact.
Politeness shows confidence and swagger so long as you don't compromise the message. Anger is an emotion and still shows you care but in a negative way.
