Of course he turns it around on you. They all do when they are cake-eating. Just tell him you wouldn't have to snoop (gather intel as Puppy would say) if he wasn't lying, so put blame where it belongs.
Puppy is right can't have boundries that you don't intend to enforce. I know it is a scary thought. I hve been down that road and Puppy said the same thing to me.
