Just talked to the insurance company and they told me to go ahead and file a claim under her insurance. Since I don't know her status(is she in jail or what?) I don't know how fast all of this will go.
My bossed called while I was talking to them. Don't take too much time dealing with this he said. As if I was trying too. I can only talk to some of these people during business hours(such as my own agent). Whatever.

Yuck. Glad S17 was able to get her info and get the police involved!
Sheesh. Your dad really is a pain sometimes LOL. It's not like S17 was sitting in the middle of the street with the lights off and a target on the car or something.

I was really proud of him doing what he had to in order to get her info. When I got there, he was in her face. He wasn't about to take the fall for this when she hit him! He is a great kid.
It does suck that my dad gets so upset over the wrong things. He is pretty much the father figure in the boys lives since their own Dad is too busy playing house. Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I was really relieved when they said that her policy was in effect on the day of the accident. I guess I will be waiting a couple more days to hear where we are. S17 has so much going on right now, he didn't need this. Well really none of us needed this. Stuff happens and I was upset because my car is only a year old. The most important thing though is that S17 is fine and secondly, he did all the right things.

Oh when it rains. Went out to my car to go to lunch and as I close my door, I hear the tinkling of glass. Back passanger window is shattered. I don't see any sign of vandalism, insurance guy says it might be due to the accident but lets get it fixed.
Glass guys will come out to my work tomorrow to fix it. I get the joy of dealing with the other insurance company about it! Get it fixed and move on.

OK, let me vent some more for a second and I will hop on.
So I get home and ex is still here with the kids. First thing out of his mouth is about D10's violin. I said I asked her to ask her teacher to help her see if it is in the music room. He is ranting. Then S17 comes out and tells me that D11 lost her planner and all of her fund raiser money which is due in 2 days. Originally it was due last Thursday which gave us a whopping 3 days to raise any money.
Told the kids I am not going to say anything about my window to my parents as my Dad is mad enough and he knows there was a wreck. Have I done my 3 things yet? Am I done for a while? Cross your fingers.
Off to watch Leap Year with my bestest Karen.
