Btw, I watched Take The Lead today, it stars Antonio Banderas. Sure, everybody finding a love partner is a little hokey but I love the movie! Hey, would it be considered a chic flick?

Nothing blows up. Sorry. I didn't talk to my Dad just my Mom. Really if he wasn't on the title I think I would give up on sharing the info. I have always thought I get to put up with the .25cents of bad for the .75 cents of good. I can't please him all the time and really neither s17 or I did anything wrong. Crap just happens even when you try to avoid it.
So glad he didn't get hurt. I mean the lady could of had a gun or something. Lucky it worked out ok. At least my fender on the rear is plastic but I have no idea how they fix it.

Kat, you know sometimes you just can't please everyone and besides we're not responsible for dealing with others' emotions- they are! And this isn't the first time your dad has gotten upset over nothing so it's his problem to get over it.
So glad S17 is ok! Hindsight is always 20/20- yes if someone's leaving the scene of an accident they're probably not worth chasing after. Just try to get the license plate and leave the rest to the police.
Do you mean the rear bumper- not the fender? If it's just the plastic bumper cover it's pretty easy to replace, snaps off and the new one snaps on...as long as the foam and the actual bumper underneath are ok. Then you just have to primer and paint match which is where the cost is. Is the lady's insurance company paying for the repair?

No it is the fender but it is part of the bumper. It wraps around from the side to the back to the other side. It has a definite different feel to it from the part in front of the tail lights. She has insurance so I will go through hers after I provide the info to my insurance. Hope that all goes well. I will watch the video now.
