Well, Whatis is on the mend. The coughing has lessened considerable although I'm still rather tired, probably from doing sweet piss all the last few days! I did go to a bookstore for an hour yesterday, didn't buy anything...honest. But, I have used my time to read "Who Switched Off My Brain: Controlling Toxic Thoughts and Emotions" by Dr. Caroline Leaf. She discusses brain science and how our thoughts effect our brains physically. She references the bible throughout the book to show that it presents us with healthy direction and it is in tune with the science of the brain. Now, as far as the Mind Sweeps which are supposed to cleanse your mind of toxic thoughts, I'm not quite getting it. Oh well, interesting book. I also read "Jesus Lord Of Your Personality: Four Powerful Principles for Change by Bob Russell. The "fun" book I'm reading is "Spear Of Destiny" by Daniel Easterman (If you can get your hands on a copy of his first book The Seventh Sanctuary 1988 it's a wonderful read!). He's a British author who hasn't published much lately in North America, I ordered the book from a dealer in England (one week delivery, pretty good!). Anyway, I was reading last night in bed and left off at a part where the bad guy massacres a whole family while looking for info he wants. I had friggin' nightmares about it. I think anything that has to do with family trauma or tragedy still gets me going emotionally. Anyway, that's my reading update. I also watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night, I don't get that either! But Take the Lead with Antonio Banderas was quite good this afternoon. OK, I'm done. Btw, anybody looking for a good new and used book site you might want to check out Betterworldbooks.com, their prices are good and a small portion of every purchase goes towards world literacy. They also have free shipping in the U.S. (Canada $3.97)
Wii, I'm glad to hear the earring is off! since you didn't like my first suggestion I was having a hard time coming up with another one so at least I'm glad I don't have to now.

Two words: Law Abiding Citizen - ok that was three words but seriously two more words: Must watch.
And sounds like your body doesn't like detoxing anything so try intoxicating instead...works for me.

LOL. I am glad he didn't take your advice either!
"Take the Lead" was a great flick. Ooh I wish I could tango like that!
Sol, I took ballroom dance with my wife for about six months. She'd always wanted me to do that with her and I refused, so this time I suggested it. It was a trip to Hell! I enjoyed learning the dances and realizing I can actually do this stuff but dancing with my wife was not the R builder that I thought it would be, she was such a b!tch. One night we ended up having a verbal fight in the middle of the dancefloor while other couples danced around us. I got sick of her criticizing me and told her so, "I'm through taking your sh!t" and it went from there. The dance teachers had to intercede, how embarassing! I still enjoy watching movies like Take The Lead and shows like Dancing With The Stars. A few months after we separated I bought tickets to DWTS as their tour hit Toronto, the kids loved it! It was such a fun night.
Sorry to hear the ballroom class ended up being a bust-up. But at least yu got to go see DWST. Sounds fun. As a little girl, my dream was to become a professional flamenco dancer. LOL
Well, tonight is NFL football. I was so tired today I didn't think I'd make it through the workday but I did. I cancelled my appointment with my shrink because I just didn't feel it was a good idea to be driving downtown like this, she agreed. I stopped to get a refill on my cough medicine, as the coughing was bad today, and pharmacist said I had to see the doctor. The doctor couldn't see me until tomorrow night. So, I went to a drop in clinic and the doctor there had gone home for the day. To hell with it, I bought some congee for dinner came home and ate. I'm off tomorrow as I booked a holiday day at the beginning of the week, hoping I could maybe go to the art gallery but it looks like it will be a day of rest. I have a prayer group meeting to go to tomorrow night and I'd like to go considering I was invited. Last night I went to Bible study and probably shouldn't have but all work and no play sucks. Besides I enjoy sitting with my woman friend, it's something I look forward to. She's a sweetheart. Anyway, kick off is at 8:30 pm and seeing as how I like the Packers and hate Brett, I'll root for New Orleans.
WII!!!! I knew you were one special guy! A fellow Packer fan that is still fuming over Brett's defection to the purple pu$$ies...oops, did I say that? LOL!
Enjoying the game so far I hope. That first drive by the Saints was ON FIRE. Now they've settled in FAR too much and neither team is doing much of anything.

Mish, I'm more pissed that he thinks the whole world revolves around him! He decides he wants to quit, the Packers revamp things, and he decides he wants to come back and gets all sulky when they won't turn over all their plans for the great one. Now, every year he pisses around leaving teams in the lurch while he tries to get in touch with his inner Brett. Anyway, the game was good until the last 40 seconds of the first half. Btw, I'm actually a Giants fan but the Pack are my second choice, forgive me Mish for I have sinned (I Love the Browns too in the AFC).
