New to this Community seeking advice

Well, I left ID. Before my W came to pick up the boys, I called and told her we'll be running a bit late for the swap. I told her we were swimming one last time and would be ready to link up with her by 6PM. She said that was fine. At first she hesitated, then paused a little, then said 6PM was OK with her.

Of course the boys were thrilled to spend more precious time with me. I'm impressed my W was very accomodating throughout this weekend. I won't try to read much into it other than it's quite the step for her to be so accomodating with me. I'm impressed.Is she regaining trust slowly? I guess time will tell.

In any case, I had a great time with my boys. We made more memories, shared lots of stories, did everything together, laughed a lot. The boys said they were quite surprised I made the trip from 900 miles away to spend two and a half days with them. It was worth all the driving, believe me.
