It's not one building, there is 14 with 12 apartments in each one. It's a huge property and I'm on the opposite side of the office. Even now I never see either of them when they are working. There is a deadbolt that denies access when I'm home but it would be open without me there. I don't think either of them would risk their job/legal trouble to enter my apartment, but I will admit it's not impossible. But I have nothing to hide either.
I can see why it's not the best idea but I don't think it is that awful. Is it really better to have 50% less room for 30% more cost and remove them from their home and comfort? Im probably not thinking clearly so maybe hit me with a 2x4. I'm truly not worried about my safety there. My neighbors are nosy and home often and would tell me anything fishy. An the OW has some power but everything regarding eviction and pricing goes through her boss first. I don't know. I don't know what's best. Truly I know I'm not thinking clearly but I can't really justify it in my mind being worse off financially and comfort wise on the possibility of him coming into my apartment.
