This is an important thing to consider; you have to know the mistakes you've made in the past so you can avoid them. But you also can't dwell on the mistakes you've made in the past. It's like in football, a cornerback has to forget the last play; otherwise they'd get paralyzed.
Sometimes things just get sideways. Sometimes brakes fail on a car.
