Interesting pov Kat, I probably won't like it either then. I haven't read the book either but I'd heard of it.

We just got back from legoland. DD had a blast! I'm feeling exhausted after 5 hours of running around from one ride to another. Her too...she fell asleep in the car and still sleeping.

STBXW responded to my emails...I'm just about ready to tell her off- the heck with being politically correct.

"We're splitting the cost for all school year closed days. As tue/wed are prior to the start of the school year and I paid this week, you should pay those days as its your week. "

This was in response to my comment that I'd already paid the last two weeks and this was her week. Also I'd have to check which days the private school's closed vs. a public school and only contribute for as many days as a public school. I said this because she'd asked for another $75 (after I already pay her thousands a month) out of me stating that had DD gone to a public school I'd have to pay that amount in daycare fees. So now I'm going to use the same logic and say had DD gone to a public school I wouldn't have had to pay for all these extra days the private school is closed. So what does she do? she TELLS me that is how we're splitting costs. Again, really? says who?

I'm debating if I should cool off my jets or tell her to F off.

What a pathetic loser!

How'd she get to go to private school if you were so against it? Was this not a mutual decision and if so, why wouldn't you split the costs equally? Have I missed something?
Legoland, eh. I'm thinking of opening a more appropriate family oriented park that reflects today's realities, Divorceland. "Hey, welcome to Divorceland where everybody leaves a big piece of their heart behind and don't forget to try our "Cry Your Friggin' Heart Out Waterslide", a brand new attraction" Catchy, isn't it. I really think I'm on to something big!

Wii, I like the idea but you need a few more rides for your new park:

- Beauty and her new beast
- Honey I shrunk you to the oblivion
- Pirates of the marriage
- Alice in divorceland
- Mr.Toad's scary roller-coaster ride
- Dumbo the stupid flying WAS
- Halloween night fireworks display...shown daily

I had a great weekend with DD...lots of fun activities, good times and yummy food. DD was happy, I was happy, life's good smile

Today I'm catching up on the chores and going to a dinner party tonight.

Hope everyone here had a good weekend.

Romeo you are in too good of a mood....I suspect a woman is to blame! (IN A GOOD WAY) but I won't pry...

and I am cracking up with your jokes! funny ride name ideas for whatisis' theme park!

I totally want to see Going the Distance! Date Night was pretty funny, The Switch was utterly predictable and not that great but fun characters, and I don't have any desire to see Salt. What's the big deal abotu that one? A hot woman firing 2 guns at once? smile

Oh and I will look up The Expendables--is it an action flick with a bunch of famous male actors? I do love action!

Have you seen The Transporter series? Super action packed, clever and highly entertaining!

Oh I love these all, but especially the bolded one. Great titles, Romeo. Do you like roller coasters? I find they are scaring me a little with each passing year but still so much fun! How was your dinner party?

Thanks Sol. The dinner was just ok.

So some more interactions with STBXW, never pleasant...not matter what they make me angry

My email to her (bypassed/avoided all the bills talk etc):

I spoke with xyz at [old day care] and took care of DD's tuition for this week [her last week at this school].

Also, after reading some articles I'd like to switch DD from the 2 day on/off to one week on/off. It will be less stressful for her that way and provide her a bit more stability. When bouncing back and forth between the houses every 2 days she probably doesn't get enough time to settle down and get used to the difference etc.

I'd like to try it for her and see if it's something that we can agree upon should this work. Let me know what you think.

Her response:

Sure, so then we would be a Mon-Sun instead of the current way. When should we try it out then? We should tal k to DD about it.

If we end up switching the schedule I'd like to set i up so that I can have most of the week (or at least weekend) that my mom will be here. She'll be here from Dec 8-16. It's midweek to midweek but if I could at least have the week of Dec 6-12 that would be awesome. If we're splitting up by week instead of days we need to pre-plan a holiday schedule.

DD mentioned that she had to give away some of her toys from her toy chest because she had too many. I don't know if you've already donated them, but I have asked you several times that if you're going to give stuff away if you could please let me know. A lot of stuff I could use. She doesn't have a ton of toys at my place so I could have used them. In the future please let me know I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

It somehow circles back to her wants and it always has to be what works in her favor.

Also while I haven't given any of DD's toys away but even if I did I might let her know as a favor/courtesy not because she wants me to. Her demands (guised as requests) just make me infuriated.

No I'm not bitter, I'm just feeling less sweet mad

smile

Eh. Your stbx is a piece of work. LOL. Just respond with telling her you will see about the schedule and you will go through the toys and ask DD which ones she'd like to take to her mom's house.

Oh and not sure if it's been said on these threads before (and I'm feeling silly today)...

Romeo, oh Romeo... wherefore art thou Romeo?

LOL. I need to take a break at work or something. Haha.

Romeo -
i actually thought her response was totally reasonable and not badly worded. be careful of reading too much into these things (we all do it!)
