I'm more of a C, F and G-7th guy I guess. Probably why I like Thorogood so much. cool

Yeah, I like it simple too. One bourbon, one scotch, one beer.

Sorry, I don't do "cryptic."

I’m only interested in two things
Yeah?
See if you can guess what they are
I would think...uh...let’s see, maybe Stravinsky...
I’ll give you two clues. Let go of your pickle
What?
Let go of your pickle!
I’m not holding my pickle
Well, who’s holding your pickle then?

cool

Ehh, maybe I am full of it, but I think "what we have here is a failure to communicate" perpectives smile

E.G. If you view all of life as one continuous journey, one continuous present, then puppy's M issues become a mega marathon smile

If you are a deal with things as they come up, make plans for the future, and past problems were just how you learned kind of guy, then these things are more like discrete units smile

Yeah, I'm bored today and tried to find wisdom in his lyrics. All I found was...

(Well then Fido got up off the floor, and he rolled over
and he looked me straight in the eye
And you know what he said?
"Once upon a time, somebody say to me"
This is the dog talkin' now
"What is your, conceptual, continuity?"
"Well I told 'em right then", Fido said
"It should be easy to see
"The crux of the biscuit
is the apostrophe"
Well you know, the man that was talking to the dog
looked at the dog, and he said
Sort of staring in disbelief
"You can't say that"
he said
"It doesn't, and you can't, I won't, and it don't
it hasn't, it isn't, it even ain't, and it shouldn't
it couldn't"
He told him, "No, no, no"
I told him, "Yes, yes, yes"
I said, "I do it all the time
Ain't this boogie a mess"?)

Singing along would get me banned, I think.

PS. Women don't like Zappa smile This is a good example of why smile

Still cracks me up imagining him an Terry Bozio doing this one though:

Some Zappa makes me laugh. There are a few lines in "Evelyn a Modified Dog" that bring a big smile when I think of them.

---

Evelyn, a modified dog
Viewed the quivering fringe of a special doily
Draped across the piano, with some surprise
...
Evelyn, a dog, having undergone
Further modification
Pondered the significance of short-person behavior
In pedal-depressed panchromatic resonance
And other highly ambient domains...
