New to this Community seeking advice

Drove 10 hrs before I bedded down for the night. Another 5 hrs tomorrow to go. Called the boys to tell them I was on the road. They are excited. W also wanted to talk to me about my arrival time. She apologized for not telling me that she won't be able to have the boys meet me sooner than 5PM because of school and sports practice.

I asked her how to get to the boys' school so I can also be there for practice. She didn't expect that . Sounded a bit overtaken but didn't make a fuss about it. She already had the boys packing when I called.
