In little old Kansas we won't get anything from this hurricane. sometimes get more rain from the ones in the Gulf. There is just a storm front moving through that will get to the East coast sometime this weekend and that they hope will prevent Earl from making landfall.
When I was in Charlotte, NC, Hugo got us there and that was excitement enough for a hurricane. So I have had a hurricane, earthquakes, floods, tornados and if you want to count a small fire in a hotel. That leave avalanches, tsunamis,and volcanos that I haven't experienced yet...think I can do without those.
