It does make it less stressful when you can get along with your ex but to get there it takes a lot of time, patience and the happy pills.
I didn't realize you guys were affected by the hurricane. Sounds kinda adventurous...though I bet if someone said the same thing about an earthquake to me I'd punch them in the face.
