Running out of time.

50 million to play football or any sport for that matter is just crazy. The economics are apparently there to justify these outrageous salaries.

Yeah I think I got lucky on the home sale. I had to play hardball with the buyers to get it wrapped up. My agent was/is a jelly fish, wanted to concede on every buyer request. I said no on most of them, it was obvious to me they loved the place and wanted it. We hit a stalemate and I called my broker last Sat. and told him the buyer had til Noon to make a decision or the deal is off and was deadly serious. The buyer is an attorney and shockingly a pain in the ass. He called me a half hour later and they agreed to terms.

Bittersweet development, I loved that house and put a lot into it financially and was attached to it. Thought I would be there for another 15-20 years. I've got to hustle to find a new place now. Two bedroom one bath rentals run from $1800-3250 in my neck of the woods in LA. Way pricey but it is what it is.

If kids weren't in play I would probably be looking to relocate to the SF Bay Area but not an option. Plus I'm quite sure landing a job that is as solid as my current one anywhere in this economy is highly unlikely.

No shame is right. What the hell is going in the heads of these fools? My X got the message that I am not interested in any extracurricular communication. I haven't asked her for a single thing since she moved out and I have no intention of doing so.

She is requesting that I pick up a couple of days for her toward the end of the month while she is in Florida on business. I told her I would help out provided I'm not in the middle of moving to my new residence and she would be wise to have a plan B in place.

I'll be seeing her tonight at the kids school orientation. I don't intend to sit with her. I'm just going to walk in and take a seat anywhere but with her. When everyone gets up to meet their respective childrens new teachers and classroom it should be interesting to see how she acts.

How are you handling the new dynamic in your situation? Must be trying. I'm not looking forward to that but I'm quite certain it is coming soon rather than later. The idea that some OM is going to be parenting my children when not with me makes my blood boil.

I hope to make my way up to Lake Tahoe in October once the dust has settled. I need a vacation in a big way.
