Mold is a hot button word... there's mold, and there is MOLD! I am not expert in knowing which is which. But, still, a problem to be addressed. If you have a mold issue, the tile is the least of the problems, you may well need to replace what's under it. If it's "just" on the surface, you probably have a lot more options.
