Interesting reaction from H yesterday. He called me to ask for his rent cheque, I said that I'll put it in my mailbox and he can pick it up. So I did, put it in an envelope and wrote his name on it....a variation of his proper name, his familiar name that me and the whole family call him by....I don't know why I used it, it just came out.....didn't call him that for months. Anyway left it in my mailbox for him to pick up.
Later at night I ran into D at a convenience store, after her dinner with H he was driving her home and stopped for something. H was waiting for D in the car and I just waved to him and continued walking. Then I hear him calling after me, getting out of the car running after me wanting to talk to me. He asked where did the envelope come from?....I didn't know what he was talking about at first....he was referring to the envelope that I had put the rent cheque in. I said what do you mean, it came from me...he said "I didn't recognize your handwriting, did you write it?". I had to reassure him that I did. I guess that H was puzzled that I used the familiar form of his name...but didn't comment on it specifically. Certainly got a strong reaction from him...just found it curious
