I think of it like a triangle. When the mean ole W says something that upsets the poor little ow she runs to your H. It gives them something to bond over and the triangle points at you.
Take yourself out of there and say nothing to her. The only place the frustration, anger, and disappointments can be aimed at is each other.
I mean think about it. You tried to get your H help for his problems. This PO your H and then he took up with the ow, right? Ow said you ruined H's career. How ludicris is that? Why would you have been out to ruin your H's career knowing it would affect your livelihood as well? You knew done properly your H would get the help he needs to save his life, not destroy it.
Ow is desperate. She sees her dream of using your H to get what she wants slipping away. Step back from this and watch their R die its own death.
A woman like the ow in your case is out after what she can get out of a man before she wads him up and throws him away. You know this because she's done it before.
