Interesting you should say that. I always say there is no room in love for pride. Letting my H know that I still care for him, without pressure, is not groveling. It doesn't debase me in any way. Instead, it shows I'm willing to walk the walk.

I do agree on this punkin, there is no room for pride in ANYTHING. I will be true to me, period. If H comes knocking on my door someday it won't be pride that decides whether or not we have anything to work on.
Now, in your sitch, H knows you care. Continuing to tell him would be a form of pressure IMO.
