consider grand junction. beautiful and great wine! if you want in the foothills, don't rule out morrison. red rocks concerts! it's a must see!
Don't worry, I'm considering them both. Wanted to go to Red Rocks but never worked it in on this trip. I remember as a teenager reading that all these great late 60's/early 70's band were playing Red Rocks and this Bronx boy thought, "where/what is this place?!"
