Join a band (even better if you can actually sing, or play an instrument!)
Too often, I think, people here (esp. us guys) equate "GAL activities" with "drinking beers with my buddies." Sure, that can be part of it, but remember you're trying to get back in touch with that Authentic You that attracted her/him to begin with.
