The good thing, CD, is that you are still willing to act on the advice given and trust it! It may not be quite internalized yet, but it's tough when you're in the middle of the fire. The fact that you're willing to act against nature is SO critical! As long as you can do that, the internalization will come.
Yep -- you got it right, Sunny. Right now, CD, you are at the "conscious competent" stage, in your progression from:
1. Unconscious incompetent (Don't know anything, and you're not even AWARE you don't know anything)
2. Conscious incompetent (Still don't know anything, but now you are aware of it, and acknowledge the problem and need for more knowledge)
3. Conscious competent (applying your knowledge, but it still feels awkward to you, as it's not "second nature" yet)
4. Unconscious competent (where you internalize it, and it becomes second nature to you).
