Yes I had a blast. The celebrations lasted over 4 days and 'blessed' me with 7lbs.
Well, Let me try to explain my motivation for going with him.
I LOVE Meatloaf. Pearl rocks it too. It was a small venue, and we were close enough to be sweat upon! lol You meatheads kwim!
OW moved out of their ho-tel no-tell motel room at the end of June. I wanted to touch base and take the temp a bit. AND to let him 'see' what I am becoming.
We met at the entrance and left at my car. No R talk, no touching, I paid as much attention to him as I did the guy on the other side of me. We did have a lot of fun. I caught him watching me a number of times. But my main motivation was seeing meatloaf. I knew he'd like it too. Lots of memories wrapped up in bat outa hell.
I am sure he is still seeing her, but have no idea of his plans. He had to find a replacement for a pool tourny, a thing they do together. I hope he ditched her to go! I'll bet cash she doesn't know where he was.
Last week he actually went to DD16's open house at school so I could attend DS13's. But he did tell DD that he could help her with her Stat class b/c he used to teach it. (He was a psych prof for over 20 years) DD laughed..."Dad I am in Algebra2 not stat!" He was in the right place but wasn't sure why. A glimpse into his state of mind.
Anyways, I am back to my life. Loving it BTW. I had so much love thrown at me by family and friends this last week. Reminded me how much love is out there.

You go, girl! It IS nice to remember that EVERYONE ELSE thinks you're terrific! Enjoy your life, have fun, learn how to belly dance, and put WH out of your mind.
