Ok I can't see it at work but just the "for dummies" part has me cracking up! I think I will actually call Schlage to see what they say, since it is their electronic lock. They do also have a video on their site for my lock but this issue my dear friends is the current lock takes a chunk out of the edge/panel part of the door when I remove it.
