Nice going on the duvet and other home makeover stuff. I don't know if there is a HomeGoods store in your area, you could get some good cheap art and other items. Pier 1 also is a good choice with low-cost items.
I am sure the ladies here can help with shopping tips on where to find bargains..your female family members could point you in the right direction on fire-sale items in your area. Flea markets and yard sales are good sources for getting stuff on the cheap.
