Time Heals, in the big picture most things in our lives aren't that big a deal. That's what bugs us sometimes, everybody else just carries on and inside I'm screaming "my life has been torn apart!" and they're thinking "is peanut butter on sale this week?" I think that's why in my faith they teach us that God has a plan much bigger than yours. But heck, at least he has a plan! Gardener, I think if I was 35 or so this wouldn't be the same anxiety as it is now. I'm in mid-life, all the good stuff is done! Now it's time to nurse my aches and pains, avoid arthritis, heart disease, kidney stones and impotence (not that it really matters at this point!). It's time to talk about where you plan to retire one day and which of your friends just died. This is the life, my man. OK, it's a new adventure...a new chapter...got it! SFO, my wife probably does like having me around because she has no relatives in this country, I'm it besides the kids. She once cried and told me that she was afraid she'd lose everybody after what she's done. She says that if anything ever happened to me she'd be there, she wouldn't just walk away...well, I seem to remember a marriage vow that I believed whole heartedly too but that went the way of the do do. Anyway, the sky is darkening here in TO and I just finished my grocery shopping. Yeah, the kids are coming back today! Yesterday I bought D13 a four pack of her favourite but hard to find root beer and at the zoo Monday I bought little stuffed animals for them. So, this morning I went over to wife's and put the RB in the porch enclosure in front of the door with the little animals sitting on top. They'll be thrilled when they get home. I booked a doctor's appt for youngest for this afternoon to get her leg looked at, wife requested I do so. She says it seems fine but it's best to get it checked, I agree. Later DBers I've got to return some ink cartridges that bought but aren't for my printer.
Btw SFO, if you're a Bills fan then you really do understand boring football! I've been a Giants fan since I was a kid, at that time the Giants were the only NFL football on TV in Canada and they were baaaad, but I loved them anyway.
