The Intel Gathering Resource Thread

Unfortunately my H's cell phone and computer are company owned, so I'm sure most of the exchanges take place there. However, one week a month he will live at the house to take care of the kids. I'm going to put on the network magic on the desktop, but he is leaving tomorrow and I'm sure he will take the old laptop. Is there something I can do to that laptop that won't let the internet work on it? My thought is then when he is in the house he will be forced to use the desktop and I can at least learn OW's name. He isn't very tech savvy, so if there is something I can easily do to the laptop that lets it work, but not connect, that should be good. I'm assuming he wouldn't use his work computer for facebook, but who knows.
