Now I guess I will have to give him the key I have to his vehicle.

Hey GAG,

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words.

Let me clarify my above statement. I only said this in sadness, not expectation.

I have decided that if H wants the key to his vehicle he'll ask for it.

There another possibility to having H return the key. My D will be starting college very soon. We have been in the process of looking for a car for her but haven't gotten one yet. H knows it will be my car she will be driving until we get one for her. He may have just figured she could use a key of her own instead of taking mine.

S26 locked his keys in his truck the other night before work. His dad had the spare key. S asked his dad for the spare. This also may have prompted H to return the key to my vehicle.

In the big scheme of things it really doesn't matter why H returned it. I never expected to have this much discussion over a bit of sadness. Thank you all so much for caring! smile

CW - Mentioning MLC and weirdness in the same sentence is an understatement!!! LOL

Now it was my turn for a dream - H and I were driving away from the house in his vehicle. I can't remember the destination but it was a First Annual type of event. We were excited about going. It was sunny and cloudy out and I looked out the truck window and in the sky there was a small tornado type thing whirling around. I rolled down the window to get a better look and H said get back in here, I don't want you to get sucked up. The tornado then disappeared. We continued on our way. We got further down the road and saw flashing lights up ahead. Blocking the road were lots of firetrucks. Since H was a paramedic and volunteer fireman I rolled down the window and H was talking to one of the guys and the guy told us the storm had done a lot of damage and that we wouldn't be able to go that way. I could see trees that were down and the men were busy clearing them away. My dream ended with me thinking well, we'll just take a different route to get to the event.

Any thoughts to the meaning of this one?

Everyone have a great day!!! smile

Certainly no expert here, but I'd say it was the route of your marriage, brought on by his returning the key. You were going down the road, happy and full of expectation, never expecting this sh*t storm to disrupt your life and plans. You, being the caring soul that you obviously are, think, well, we'll just follow another path, perhaps a path less traveled, but will reach our destination together in the end.

Should I quit my day job?

punkin,

I couldn't have said it better than you just did. You wrote exactly what came to MY mind about the dream!

Hey SA

How about MLC and weirdness in the same sentence being an oxymoron...oh wait...that would mean they would be contradicting and they are definitely NOT that! smile

I agree with pun and GAG about your dream!!!

Dreams are full of symbols, I believe. I agree about what the dream means, but what about those firemen? Do you think they represent the bb? Or other friends who are supporting you? Note that your perspective of the tornado was little, but a lot of damage had been done outside of the vehicle you were travelling in.

Just some thoughts. No expert.

So here is today's installment of MLC weirdness.

H pulls up on his motorcycle this afternoon to bring D11 soon to be 12, a very expensive b-day present. Hadn't called or texted that he was coming, he just showed up.

D went outside to talk with him and he stayed for a few minutes and took off saying he would see the kids tomorrow. That's why this is a bit strange. Why bring it to her today when he will have them for a while tomorrow? Hope he isn't planning to blow them off again. I mean two times in one week seeing them would be a kid overload for him... He sure has changed. frown

Hi SA

I sure hope he does show up for your D's tomorrow!

I never have asked you...what do your SS's think about all of this? Do they see their Dad?

Hey CW,

My two SS in the beginning were just as shocked as the rest of us were. They couldn't believe that their dad for as much as he displayed his love for me would ever do something like this.

I don't talk to them much about it as I know it makes them uncomfortable. They do not want to be caught in the middle and that is not what I want to do to them either. I have never mentioned MLC to them.
