I have the same situation. My H has a set of my truck keys, and keys to the house. He has never offered to give them back. I have never asked. Did change the pass codes on the doors and the garage.
Having just been through all this crap with my H, I agree with what everyone else says. It appears you have had a nice, quiet spell, and he had to do something to stir you up again. Look at it this way. He wanted to get your attention in the worst way.
