Just returned from taking my father to his medical appointments. I slept at Mom and Dad's last night as the first appt was at 9:00 am. Doctor told Dad it was not the Cancer but the meds he had been taking, Arthrotec and Oxi's. Dad goes from puking one day to the runs the next. Doctor says it will go away, stick to fiber! We know of four other people who had been taking Arthrotec and had to be taken off it but, according to doctor, it protects your stomach from ulcers. Wow, thanks doc. Anyway, Dad's pretty weak and I took him to the hospital for his blood tests at the Cancer clinic and he couldn't walk more than two minutes to the car. I had to go get it and pick him up half way. So here's to hoping and praying he'll make a quick recovery! He's been suffering with the hip pain (which is gone) and the med side effects for two weeks now.
